VIVA LAS VEGAS

I just spent one of thee best easter holidays in Mesquite, Nevada. My sister-in-law's family was kind enough to let me come along on their family vacation - thanks again! We spent a long two days driving there and a long two days driving back but there's nothing like a road trip and we changed vehicles quite a bit to mix things up!




The weather was awesome so we spent a few days by the pool and playing tennis at the resort. We all got a good start to our summer tans or in some cases burns!! Wednesday we had a little tennis tournement (Jason and LaNae, Corrine and Ken, & Curtis and myself) and of course Curtis and I kicked some butt. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS. Actually I couldn't wait for it to end because it was so stinkin' hot out and everyone else got to go to the pool inbetween games. Definite highlights of the trip...tanning and tennis.

We also spent a few days in Vegas walking the strip and checking out all of the casinos! We went to the show Le Reve at the Wynn - similar to Cirque de Soleil. Hit some of the outlet stores, went to my first IMAX/3D show (Deep Sea). We tried to arrange a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon but due to high winds that was cancelled...BOO!! Overall it was a great trip, it was great to get away for a bit and I had a blast getting to know the Martens family a little more, gas and all!!
